Our dedicated Cinema Room here at Templeton House Care Home has been designed to bring our residents closer together, and it is the ideal place for friends, family, and loved ones to sit back, relax and spend time together.

Residents are presented with an impressive selection of films to choose from, from black and white westerns, to family favourites such as The Wizard of Oz through to more modern romantic comedies, there is something for everyone to enjoy in our luxurious in-house cinema.

A Cinema Designed Just For You

Our beautiful, luxurious cinema has been designed exclusively for residents. Combining the traditional elements typically found in a cinema, with the comforts needed to feel entirely at home, residents have the perfect place to enjoy a film or two, right on their doorstep. We love seeing our residents settle down into their seats, make themselves as comfortable as possible and sit back and immerse themselves in their favourite films. Residents are also welcome to book our cinema room so that they are able to invite loved ones and have a private space where they can spend quality time together.

The Power of Nostalgia

One of life’s greatest pleasures is getting lost in a good movie, with a lot of films even acting as time capsules to a lost era. Nostalgia is incredibly powerful, and our Cinema Room gives residents the opportunity to watch old movies from their childhood and unlock memories that may have been buried over the decades. Films are perfect for not only enjoying the moment, but also a great way to relive fond memories and talk about and sharing those with their fellow residents and staff; a trip to the Cinema Room can be for those who are looking to enjoy time alone, as well as those who enjoy the social aspect it offers also.

Our cinema room has been meticulously designed to offer residents the complete cinematic experience within the comfort of our home. With a large screen, comfortable seating, cinema-style refreshments, and an extensive selection of film titles to choose from, residents can unwind and enjoy their favorite movies.

Each of our residents is encouraged to enjoy our cinema room as part of our all-inclusive package. Additionally, family members and loved ones can join them in using the cinema room.

We are pleased to offer many film titles and genres and we work closely with our residents to learn about their favourite films so that we can put on showings that everyone can enjoy. On occasion, we also show special televised events such as sports and national celebrations.
