Templeton House Officially Opens

Residents, their families and invited guests were delighted to attend the Templeton Care Home Official Opening, which took place at the home on 27th August. Ayrshire’s Lord Provost Helen Moonie did the honours of cutting the ribbon an announcing the home open, but if that wasn’t enough we also had BBC Broadcaster and Loose Woman Kay Adams visiting on the day to chat to residents, share a speech and formally declare Templeton House Open.

We were thrilled to hear both Kay Adams and the Lord Provost had only positive comments on our home. Kay described Templeton House as being the future of care homes – we couldn’t agree more!

Guests were warmly welcomed by a traditional Scottish piper, and walked into Templeton House on our very own Red Carpet before enjoying a glass of champagne and tour of our beautiful, brand new home.   We also had a delicious buffet to offer guests, as well as fabulous home baking and cakes, before guests and residents made the most of what was a very sunny day in our extensive gardens and enjoyed some fabulous entertainment from The Manhattan Jazz Band, as well as our Caricaturist Brian Morrison.

Karen MacIntosh, Manager of Templeton House, comments:

“It’s great to see Templeton House open and extend a warm welcome to all of our guests. It was pleasure to show off our wonderful home and some of our fabulous features as well as invite you all to the Ayrshire coast, which is a beautiful location. Following significant investment, Templeton House looks absolutely fantastic, designed with our residents in mind. We have certainly got the best staff on board to ensure that we offer the best possible care for our residents, on an all-inclusive basis – making sure costs are the costs, with no hidden extras  We look forward to welcoming our new residents – and for those who’d love to see around and join us for a tour, we look forward to welcoming you, too!
