At Templeton House Care Home, we believe every resident should be able to make the most of each day. We encourage our residents to continue doing what brings them joy, whether it’s enjoying the local coastal scenery or indulging in cheese and wine nights. Our goal is to provide everything needed for our residents to live the life they deserve.

Our Activity Coordinators ensure a varied program is available seven days a week, including arts and crafts, social outings and visiting entertainers. We also offer a range of activities and alternative therapies specifically for those with dementia. Regularly organised shopping trips and visits to areas of interest, along with our strong links to the local community, ensure our residents remain engaged and connected.

Our activities range from beach visits and trips to the local garden centre or shopping centres to coffee and quiz mornings, sing-alongs, cheese and wine evenings and music events—the possibilities are endless. We also host regular church visits, which our residents greatly enjoy.

Located in the coastal town of Ayr, Templeton House Care Home is just minutes away from a beautiful beach, offering plenty of opportunities for day trips and lovely coastal scenery. Our residents can also enjoy the convenience of our chauffeur-driven Audi A6, available for transportation to their desired destinations. Whether it’s a glass of wine with dinner, afternoon tea, a shopping trip in our chauffeur-driven car, or a beauty treatment, all these amenities are included in our weekly costs, allowing our residents to live a fulfilling life every day.
